Shannon is the Director of our Fort Washington center. She has over ten years of experience as a physical therapist. If you have a musculoskeletal injury or movement dysfunction, and are referred to physical therapy, we can help decrease pain and improve mobility. Your symptoms may be mild, or you may have symptoms that severely limit your functional mobility.
Czarmaine received her undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences, with a minor in Psychology, from the University of Maryland Baltimore County. She later pursued a Doctorate of Physical Therapy at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore and has been working in the outpatient setting since graduation. She finds joy in getting to know her patients and helping them succeed in understanding their injury and to feel empowered to take control of their health and achieve their goals. Other passions include food – talking about food, eating, watching shows on TV, and cooking. Czarmaine also enjoys spending quality time with friends and staying active through sports, exercise, walking, jogging, or hiking.
Sindhuja is a licensed physical therapist in Maryland and Texas with about 10 plus years of clinical experience in the field of orthopedic and sports rehabilitation. After completing her Bachelors in Physical Therapy from Dr D Y Patil University, Mumbai, she has worked in different hospitals within Mumbai for four years. Thereafter she moved to the States and graduated from Loma Linda University in California with her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2019. She was working in an outpatient setting in Texas after being licensed. Sindhu joined our team in March 2023 and has been working in an Outpatient setting treating different patient populations from sports injuries,TMJ, Vestibular Rehab, Pelvic floor health, Pediatrics, Stroke rehab, Parkinsons and geriatrics. Sindhuja is a compassionate and enthusiastic therapist providing her patients with the best possible care and seeking solutions to clinical problems with evidence-based research and protocols. She has completed various certifications on Sports Kinesio-Taping, Manual Therapy and Soft Tissue Mobilization. She is registered as a therapist with Worksaver in the USA and has successfully assessed and treated many work compensation patients suffering from occupational injuries using the Worksaver system. She is also an APTA credentialed clinical instructor. She is registered with Shape Crunch and has performed multiple foot evaluations for patients requiring customized insoles and footwear. She is currently pursuing her FIFA diploma in Sports Medicine. She constantly strives to upgrade her clinical skills by participating in continuing education courses. In her spare time, Sindhu enjoys traveling, exploring new places, working out at the gym and spending quality time with her family and friends.
Xavia is a native of Prince George’s County and graduated from Temple University in Philadelphia, PA with a degree in Exercise and Sports Science. Xavia decided to become a tech because it allowed her to work within her future career field of becoming a physical therapist. She said that being a tech allows her to learn from a variety of physical therapists on how to treat and care for patients.
Xavia loves to motivate patients through laughter and talk of future activities. Always keeping their mind on their goal and broadening their horizon on other activities/possibilities once PT is completed. Creating a memorable life journey is what motivates her. She looks at different stages of life as a learning experience and what lessons can be applied to future endeavors in order to reach her end goal and surpass it. She also loves to dance and music and the fun fact about her, she choreographs and teaches dance for different counties and programs in MD. She studied dance from the age of 3 and mainly teaches hip-hop, tap, and contemporary.
Sandy is a physician assistant who provides medical care to our physical therapy, car accident and work injury patients. Sandy earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in biological sciences at the University of Delaware, and a Masters of Health Sciences and physician assistant certification from The George Washington University. Sandy is also an emergency room PA and has worked in local hospitals for the past 20 years. When not providing medical care for her patients, you can find Sandy at sports games cheering on her 3 children, taking long walks with her dog, and enjoying the outdoors.
