Shannon is the Director of our DC/Metro Locations. She has over ten years of experience as a physical therapist. Xavia is a native of Prince George’s County and graduated from Temple University in Philadelphia, PA with a degree in Exercise and Sports Science. Xavia decided to become a tech because it allowed her to work within her future career field of becoming a physical therapist. She said that being a tech allows her to learn from a variety of physical therapists on how to treat and care for patients.
Xavia loves to motivate patients through laughter and talk of future activities. Always keeping their mind on their goal and broadening their horizon on other activities/possibilities once PT is completed. Creating a memorable life journey is what motivates her. She looks at different stages of life as a learning experience and what lessons can be applied to future endeavors in order to reach her end goal and surpass it. She also loves to dance and music and the fun fact about her, she choreographs and teaches dance for different counties and programs in MD. She studied dance from the age of 3 and mainly teaches hip-hop, tap, and contemporary.
