Aimee Schuh is great all around - her knowledge, experience, and communication (verbal & listening) are top notch! My first impression Of innovative
was very good. Check-in was easy. Aimee the therapist was knowledgeable and thorough. She integrated her laptop into the evaluation of my problem which really made it clear to me what I need to do. Also, her prognosis was positive with a clear timeline. The ball is in my court.

I ponder about this review for a few weeks now. This review is not on the PT staff, they are great! Calvin is amazing. This review is on the administrative practice at the Silver Spring office. I was referred by the spine doctor next door. I started my therapy back in October. Provided my insurance and was told everything was good by the receptionist who “check” my insurance. In December, I updated my insurance, spoke with the receptionist multiple times and provided her with the new information. Towards the end of Feb beginning of March, I noticed the receptionist was gone. Few days later I was approached by a manager I believed, who explained that there was a balance from “NOVEMBER” for a wapping total of $450. Four months later, I was informed that the insurance was used last year was out of network. After speaking with a few staff members, they “were kind enough” to offer a payment plan and they explained that they offered me a “discounted” fee. They hired someone who was not qualify for the job and now I am now responsible for the incompetence. I had to stop my therapy because I no longer trust their practices. If informed back in October that my insurance was out of network, I would’ve made arrangements for the expenses. I already made my first payment as arranged so not asking anything else from them but it doesn’t feel good in my heart. Be aware!!!

The clinic has a positive atmosphere that boosts one’s energy as soon as one walks through the door. The therapists are highly qualified, and they develop programs whose goals are both challenging and attainable. The sessions are conducted with calm, focused, purposeful encouragement. Highly recommended! I might add that therapists from nearby clinics covering for rare absences maintain the same high standard of professional service and authentic personal interaction.

Jennifer Hine is the best! She has tricks up her sleeve that have allowed me to avoid having surgery or cortisone shots for my thumb, which has enough cartilage deterioration to cause pain that would not allow me to play my guitars. Jen's treatments have allowed me to resume guitar playing with a lot less pain. Her marketing program, which consist of her chill lovable empathetic dogs, is almost unfair! LOL!

I suffered an injury to my neck that was undiagnosable by the first neurologist and the first physical therapist. On recommendation from a friend I found Jen at Innovative. She didn't care the cause, but she knew the problem and went to work. After six short months my neck is back, I feel back to normal, scans are good, and I got some good advice for life habits along the way, which I practice now and will continue to practice. LOVE LOVE LOVE Jen and Innovative!

Calvin runs an orderly, purposeful clinic, where everyone is purposefully engaged and all share a bright, optimistic outlook. He modified some standard exercises to accommodate an unusual underlying condition (IBM) and get me squared away for a good recovery from a hip replacement. While he attends to other patients, Robin cheerfully puts me through my paces (so to speak). They bring out the best performance at each session. I couldn't ask for more! Highly recommended.

Great, friendly, effective PTs! Calvin was inventive & persistent in helping figure out my weird complex of hip/tailbone/sciatica problems dovetailing with fibro. Jen's dry needling unlocked my hip. Everyone's friendly, timely, attentive, and upbeat; easy to schedule with, good automated reminders. And the cute, chill resident puppies wandering around help keep your mood up while you work! Definitely my favorite PT place.

This place is a complete disaster!!! Stay away!!!!! They purport to book you with a certain highly requested therapist and then do a "bait and switch" and the requested therapist is unavailable. You are stuck with the new guy with no experience. Yesterday, I requested my medical records to discuss therapy with my doctor and was told that I would receive today. Just received a phone call that I now have to call "medical records" and that request is through their phone system. The person on the phone can't/won't help get the records. THERE IS NO PROMPT FOR A MEDICAL RECORDS REQUEST IN THEIR PHONE SYSTEM!!! My doctor has never received reports-- what's going on here?
